Of course Nyhoo Bajracharyajyu is the best musician we have in Nepal. He has got depth, he has got the vision. The love songs and sad songs he composes give a real feeling of pain and pleasure. As a composer, He exactly knows the meaning of the FLOW of the chord and the feeling in the lyrics, and understands how to manipulate the chords and bring the best out of it.
Alas, Most of us Nepali don't give a damn about composition. Who gives a damn about the greatness of the song, or flow of the chord, or composition and musical arrangement, when all we wanna hear is "Kancha le kanchi lai lagyo, ban ko baato laaltini baalera"....
He is great guitarist, and vocalist. I'd say, he is better than any of so-called-radioNepal-or-GazalSingers. Better than Lakpa Sherpa, or Anand Karki. I still remember him singing some Narayan Gopal's song, playing guitar, his eyes closed, and his face expressing every feeling of the lyrics.
He is young (in his thirties I assume), but I don't think he can change the way we listen to the songs. Insted, we have to change ourselves and understand the good song. Having said that, Everyone listens to the songs that satisfies them... That makes them happy, that they like. Who the hell I am, to tell them what to do and what not to do. :D
