An Urgent Appeal to all Nepali Brothers and Sisters (living inside and =
outside the Nation)
Dear Brothers and Sisters,
It may be the first time, I am sending you this Appeal through email. =
Not only you, this appeal is sent to more than ten thousands Nepali =
Brothers and Sisters living in Nepal and foreign countries. Your name =
and email address is listed at our email alerts and we will send you the =
appeals, news and more information about our country Nepal.
We know all that our King Birendra, Queen Aishwerya, Crown Prince =
Dipendra and all their family were assassinated at the dangerous gun =
massacre which took place in Royal Palace on night of 1 June, 2001. This =
news is tearful for us which we can never imagine. Our King, who =
provided us the love and prosperity; who saved us and our Nepal; who =
gave us the Democracy and human rights; who is not smaller than our own =
father has left us. Our Eyes become tearful when we remember him and his =
family. Our salute always goes towards him in whole of our life.
This we know, our king is not with us. But, let we think that why is he =
not with us ? Why did he leave us ? Why did he leave the Nation ? Not =
only the King, why the whole royal family left the Earth ? This is, =
because they became the victim of dangerous gun massacre in royal =
palace. But, how did this kind of dangerous massacre take place ? It is =
the serious matter.
The Newspaper and medias published the news that the late Crown Prince =
Dipendra shot his parents including his brother and sister and other =
senior members of his family becoming unsatisfied with the matter of his =
mother (the late Queen Aishwerya) about his marriage and his bride. It =
may be true ? Can we think so ? Can we imagine this kind of behavior of =
our late crown prince Dipendra ? I think, no ! I mean, I can't believe =
that our late crown prince Dipendra shot our late King and Queen. Not =
only I, but also almost Nepali people don't think it and don't believe =
on this matter. If not, who shot all ?! Who is hiding behind this =
massacre ?! It is the matter of mystery and concern for all of us.
This massacre is only one biggest massacre in the history of Nepal. We =
have read and heard about Kot Massacre, but it is too bigger than Kot =
Massacre. It may be one of the rarely incident in the world too. The =
eyes of the world is in Nepal at this time.
It is heard here that the government and the royal palace will not run =
investigation in this incident. They may dismiss this incident by just =
believing that the late crown prince Dipendra killed all and himself =
too.
Today, 4 June, 2001; the Royal Council has coroneted HM Gyanendra as the =
king of Nepal. But, many people here are not recognizing HM Gyanendra as =
the king. So, the demonstrations took place inside Kathmandu valley. And =
so, the Government declared 'Curfew inside Kathmandu valley and other =
parts of the Nations from 3:30 PM today - 5:00 AM tomorrow (5 June) =
morning. The Police and Army are in the roads of Kathmandu at this time =
and they have the power to shoot to the people during the time of =
Curfew. May be by tomorrow, some brothers and sisters may lost their =
lives here. It shows that the situation is critical. What will happen =
when no one can say. What action will HM Gyanendra take, and what will =
happen, people here in Nepal are afraiding. All the business, shops, =
offices, etc. are closed for infinite time. Every one can imagine that =
the democracy and human rights in Nepal is in too danger.
At this situation of the Nation, I request all our brothers and sisters =
to be always ready to take action for the protection of human rights and =
democracy. I request you all to raise your voice (from inside and =
outside the Nation) to form the Investigation Commission on the Royal =
Palace Massacre and for the protection of democracy and human rights. =
Specially for the brothers and sisters residing outside Nepal, I request =
you all to leave your works there and start to take action to save our =
Nation and Democracy. You can do better from there. Please, raise your =
voice there. The Democracy and human rights may be collapsed, and the =
future of all of us may be fully dark. Be aware always in any incident =
in Nepal and take urgent actions.
'If our Nation is lost, our identity and we will be lost', let you keep =
this in your mind. If any serious incident is happened here, I mean if =
the democracy and human rights is collapsed here, we, the people will be =
responsible for this. Let we be united and move for peaceful movements =
to save our Nation, Democracy and Human Rights. Our country is the =
Country of Lord Buddha and Mt. Everest. The World people love us because =
of these identities. But, if the Nation is recognized as the land of =
terrorists, murderers, black marketers, frauds, etc. we will not get any =
space to put our legs in any country of the world.
'Our identity is our Motherland, so if our motherland is assassinated we =
all will die'. Our King and all his family is assassinated which is also =
not smaller than the assassination of our motherland. So, let we be =
aware of this matter. Let we save our Motherland. Let we move to save =
Democracy handled us by our late king Birendra. Let we move to make our =
Nation 'the Zone of Peace' as directed by our late King Birendra.
