I know, it is a very difficult period for everyone in Nepal, including King Gyanendra. We've lost our King and Royal family but the worst than that, we've lost our innocence and hope from this tragedy. The Political and economic situation of Nepal wasn't very nice even when the King Birendra was alive, but at least we had faith in our King and he was someone whom all Nepalese could look upto. Now, the situation has changed and created uncertainty. This makes it even diffcult for King Gyandnendra to be in this new position but let's also not forget that the late Birendra was Gyanendra's own brother too. He is in same pain as everyone, maybe even more. He has no choice but to continue his duty to save the country. I know, it is very easy for everyone to speculate the conspiracy theories and spread those nonsense rumors but the truth is, it is very hard for him too. Even the person Gyanendra doesn't wants to be in this position ( or do you ? ) but he has a duty to run the country. So, let's be resonable and give him a chance. Let's all Nepalese ( Bahun, Cheetri, Newar, Congress, Communist and Maoist) be together and give him a helping hand regardless of our differences. Then, we all will be fine. And for our late king, May Lord PashupatiNath give peace to your soul. One day, when I get old, I will be telling my sons and grandchildrens a fairy tale story about a kind hearted Royal family ( with a King, a queen, a princess and princes. Trust me, my eyes won't be teary by the time I finish the story because I'm the son of GURKHA also. It was a privilege and blessing to be a citizen of such a great King and Royal family. I know, we have hard roads ahead but we all will get through this and try everything possible to make our Country and Late King Proud.
