Contribution of Nepali politics to Nepali language is at least not as dismal as in Nepalese economy. Whenever there is a political crisis, our economic indicators start falling down but our leaders manage to compensate this producing new “political catch words”. For example…

Mr. Surya B. Thapa invented “prajatantrik abhyas” (democratic exercise?) and “Rastriya mul prabaha” (national mainstream?) in post 2036 era, NC’s “rashtriya melmilap” and numerous others by left parties (in fact leftist are most prolific in producing catch phrases and slogans too).

Following this fine tradition, the current government has also ventured one, that is RAJTANTRATMAK SANKAR (may be there are few mores, but this one I just noticed while going through PM Chand’s recent speech). In fact, I heard Mr. Ramesh Nath Pande using this phrase before in his interview with BBC Nepali sewa.

Let’s if the newly borne phrase can make a take-off!

Btw, I could not grasp the intended meaning of this phrase!
