My wife and I travelled in Nepal a few years ago. There we met a kind man who was very generous to us. We have stayed in touch by e-mail, and I have watched as times have gotten very difficult for him. He has had trouble supporting his family as toursim has dried up. I have sent some clothes and money, but in the long run he really feels he needs to leave Nepal to find work. I would like to help him but I have no idea where to start. If anyone has any advice or knows any organizations that help relocate people or find temporary work I would appreciate it. We would like to repay the generosity that was so kindly offered to us. Thanks.

What kind of help were you thinking of providing your friend? You may want to talk to an immigration lawyer first...if indeed you would like to help him find work (in US?). It surely is a noble and considerate thought, sir.
