Hi all, Good news. Samrat's second book "Guru of Love" will be on sale in Kathmandu from next week on. India's Rupa Paperbacks and Nepal's (Anjan Shrestha's) Educational Book House which is located on Kantipath (near Jamal) have joined forces to bring out an Indian edition, so to speak, of the book. The book is priced at: Nepali Rs. 250 only. Here's additional news for those of you who are aspiring short-story writers and novelists: Buoyed by the critical and commercial success of Manjushree Thapa's novel "Tutor of History" (which is now, according to Anjan, going into the stage of third reprint in India), the publisher Penguin India is now actively looking for OTHER Nepali writers and novelists to publish. Samrat and Manjushree have showed the way. Let there be other men and women Nepali writers too, marching ahead on the literary trail to both critical and commercial success. oohi "an avid reader" ashu ktm, nepal
