Anyone know what is the website address of St Xavier's Campus, Maitighar, Ktm? www.stx.edu.np seems to be that of St. Xavier's Jawalakhel( or Godavari), and I can't find one for the Campus. Thanks! |

Oys May be you are thinking about http://langtang.dhs.org or http://stxcaa.dhs.org both of these take you to the same page It was kinda xavier maithighar website made my one of its almunai... but i don think they work anymore....I should talk to that guy though |

Hey hey, Ke ho kura ta xaviers bata Montou dai ko cupid life tira gako. I had come across one site i think prepared by Dhungana from Phy B, our batch and there was one made by Sarhana.. one year junior. Why dont we think of making one. Afu ta computer knowledge 0 bhako pariyo.. ke garnu but if anyone needs help , posting announcements etc, i can help. I Know most of you out there are doing CS or are ECE .. khoi kehi garnu paryo. ANA convention ma pani ek jana bhetiyeka hainan.. SEBS ko solidarity herera basnu paryo, we need to make our own Alumni organisation yaar.. Nirmal sir yahan chainan kyare..lets gather as many Xavierians we can and start off with a site. and keep in touch. |

HJ bhaneko "Is it , is it not haina ra?" had him for just few months i think . but who can forget VKT hwait... and HP's "frog is longer than earthworm".. those were the days man!!!!! and SPS ko " CLass bata nikalidinchu natra"... hey did he ever sent out anyone..but most of them are not in Xaviers anymore.. Hello all, Was anyone here involved in LTS (Leadership Training for Services) while at SXC ? I remember we went to the Godavari Ashram to get weekend trainings on Leadership in both 1st and 2nd year. I had taken good notes while at the training, but unfortunately, I don't have them anymore. Do any of you LTSers remember what skills we had focussed on in our training...like communication, interpersonal skills etc ? If any of you remember more about the training, I would appreciate if you could give me details. This LTS thing will help me alot for my future interviews here. Thanks LTSers ! |

hello all the alum of STXC college. anyone from 92 batch (third batch)? i think the first 3 batches had the most fun. One time all the four batches were together, it was the transition period when the pioneer batch was leaving and the fourth batch were just coming in........... •nothing can beat the experience of night college..........lamkhutte at night........couldn't get through the last class without that hariyo dhoop •Bio class being right next to the guys’ bathroom, man did it stink or what? •end of the year everyone bunking the class and hanging out at the back filed •spring festival, specially girls basketball •SP mam's kurta surwal and sneakers becoming the fashion •first year, having assigned seating arrangement •student council and nirmal sir and the speech that had to be given on why you want to be the SC representative, gosh it was so cheesy •guys drooling over that mam that used to help out SP mam in the lab, forgot her name •Sabindra and his never ending fight with nepali sir •“sathi” •“juhi chawala” •KKS and his boring chemistry class •Bus ride home •Pathaka inside the bus •Student council organized parties………guys seating in one row, girls in another, no one dancing in the beginning. By the time everyone is warmed up and having fun, it was time to go home. This is all I can remember now……….i will be adding more, anyone from that time, please feel free to add…….. When I was in Nepal on 1998, I went to the reunion……..the environment of the college was westernized……..before, jean and t-shirt for the summer and jeans and sweater for the winter was almost the dress code…….but now sleevless t-shirt and mini skirts. Also everyone was on the dance floor as soon as the music started. I felt old……….so bunch of us from the first 4 batches (which wasn’t that many) jammed on the dance floor too……..however, the campus on maitighar, feels like prison……..is it still like that? |

kadambini, Yes you are right about one thing.....it doesn't only feel like prison, even the rules enforced was like a prisonnnnnnnnnnnnn!! except for the few things you mentioned, rest was crap eheh.....hamro paali ma ta social would never end.........however, our bihari babu would cut off the power around 5 30 or so .....eheh......kya khalli! hahah hangu.......that's funny! me only made it single.......fountain dekhe pachi.....i jus hold it tight and never let it go!! those were nightmare classes ! thanx for reviving them though |

Oh, great! Nice to be in this thread because I am one of the Xaverians, of 96 batch. There might be people of my own batch but can't be recognized due to nicknames used. Most of you I guess, may be in the US, but myself am in Dublin, Ireland. It is quite nice to recall those days, yes I was in the LTS, enjoyed Godavari Ashram, and most of all, father Brooks' philosophy. Those were the days!! See you next time. |

Kadambini, fun reflection :)) captures a lot of my memories too. Maitighar campus was no where close to jawalakhel from what i hear. Could not bunk classes either because of that big gate with paaley dais. And Father Brooks requiring a doctor's or a parental letter for missing a class...now what is up with that? I bet you guys did not have to go through that ordeal when in jawalakhel campus. Our graduating class went to an excursion to Chitwan National Park..that now, was lots of fun. But poor SP maam and Dave (is he still there?) had to run after missing people though, till late night. Gaada ride pulled by buffalos was the most popular outing for us, although not on official agenda (SP maam ko aankha chhalera) and so was anatakshari. |

najar, we went to chitwan national park too.........was lot of fun........people disappearing, elephant rides antakcheri. we used to have canteen inside the school. alu ko chop and coke was the best..........did you guys have lot of variety? before we could go out from the campus for lunch, but later on they stopped that since hardly anyone came back. we all used to sneak back just for the bus ride home. |

that campus ko canteen in the beginning was horrible...we couldn't go in unless we had bought the tickets earlier....it was like a cinema hall and there would be fr. paul......checking to see if everybody had tickets......(hello..what is that all bout) oh yah....chitwan excusrion was probably the best thing that happened to our batch :) we go to know students better in our own class and see the wilddddddddddddddd side of hp and vkt eheh..:) btw, 96 ko ta thupraiiiiii channnnnnnnn jaha pani.........97 ko keta/keti haroo kata ho? kasto alchi bhakooooooooo.....ma eklai le bido thamnu parne?? |

first year we spent in jawlakhel, night clases funnnnnnn....hide and seek with fr. law and brooks. natakcheri in the bus ride home. 2nd year in maitighar...it was a puky feeling, hated day classes. I heard that they built a new building in the front lawn, does anyone have any pic to share? i'm kinda curious |

Great to see so many alumns here. Xaviers does have memories.. but for my class .. the gate was no bar. i remember one afternoon .. (not the afternoon Fr Francis had the VALUES class.. oh God!! how difficult it was to keep awake.. ) 15 students who were in the morning classes ta gayab!!!! for the footbal game i think .. hehe.. pachadi gai palne thaun thiyo ni ...goth.. tyatai tira bata tap .. does anyone remember PHY A?.. and the names given to everyone in class.. where are our Rawan, boka, kukur.. etc etc.. keep in touch guys... |

Even in my batch there were several thhitas who had crush on Sangita maam :) and they would glorify to go to the lab overseen by her. But there also was a rumor that sajan sir and Sangita maam were dating...don't know if its true or not :) |
