I have only comment on this - Interesting Story. Rest lies with you. I received it from one of the posters of Nepali Association of Houston. ======================================================= Date Sent: Tuesday, June 05, 2001 9:03 AM From: "Niraj Shrestha" To: houstonnepali Subject: [houstonnepali] Who pulled the trigger? A new stunning investigative report, a man behind all the killings: After the massacre of all seniors' royals including king Birendra and Queen Aishwarya, the latest reports come to an end. After a million dollar question being asked who is accountable in pulling the trigger is now flashed to the public as it sees to end the dark cloud that surrounds throughout the nation. The investigation had been carried out by the private source and does not reveal any name that helped in gathering the valuable information. The nation is going through the toughest battle in searching the culprit, who in fact is no one other than recently government elected de facto king's son, Paras shah. Now there is no more conspiracy theory could go forward, and no conflicting event could surroun! d the nation. Who pulled the trigger? It was on Friday evening when all the invited family members got together to finalize the bride choice of the recently diseased king Dipendra, as you might have noted he was the one and only one prime suspect at that time. All the family members sat in a round dinner table, held in kaski Hall, hosted by King Birendra himself. As anxious about the bride choice, Dipendra asked his mother if she would not like the choice of his own bride, Devyani, he would hang himself. On response to that one of the family member passed a joke saying Nirajan would be crowned if he committed suicide. Seeing himself less valued he asked the consent of his brother Nirajan if he wants to see the crown, where Nirajan remain silent. After that Paras asked an excuse and promised to return with in a time limit to finish his dinner, which was granted by King's stepmother Ratna. He went outside; according to the eyewit! ness said they saw him returning in a military fatigue with the machine gun on his hand. They ignored him and let him went on his way. During Paras absence, Ratna and Helen Shah, who is a daughter-in-law of King Mahendra, went to the room saying she had some trouble with her head, and she forgot to take the pills. As Helen Shah was accompanying her, all the family remains talking about the bride choice as the queen remain stand still, not making second thought of Dipendra choice bride. Including ex-prince Dhirendra, who also had lost his life as he was called to attend this special ceremony and in most of the case whenever he comes to Nepal he lives in one of his body guard house of then. The meeting was important and the argument went on between queen and Dipendra, who by then had more than enough alcohol and not in position to talk. King ordered him to leave the room when others remain silent. As they were waiting for Ratna to return, and he was about to leave the room keepi! ng his fathers word, suddenly Paras came back with the gun in his hand. When Dipendra asked him the reason for carrying gun, he said it's his habit to carry the gun all the time. He reminded how he killed one citizen before, and he wish he could have killed the same person with gun, when there were a big debate in house. Dipendra explained the shoot out of that automatic weapon to all his families in a very traditional way; he was loosing his words due to the heavy influence of alcohol. As he was explaining the possibilities a single gun could damage, Paras plucked the gun to his side, and shot all leaving almost all dead. He didn't shot Dipendra at first; he made him wounded so that he could remorse the entire allegation to him. Paras was masterminded, he shot his mother, komal shah, so that the people would believe how could he be able to kill his own mother and of course Gynandra was out of scene. Bullets were fired till its end, most of them were fired in the chest and abd! omen area, pretending that all dead he again shoot out in the head, after all the bullets were gone, he left the gun in the scene, and went on to the temple at first then went to his car and drove away. The reason behind him going to temple is believed that he called his father and according to him he went to hide himself leaving almost all his relative into the fatal bloodbath. After a while when Ratna came back, she saw the massacre and could do nothing but fainted. Helen shah managed to call the guards and they were all rushed to the army hospital. The guards were told no words should go out of this room. When Gynandra was contacted by the news that at least 6 members were killed and the crown price is injured, he fabricated the story and blamed Dipendra at first. Later on when he was under the high pressure of Ratna, he then re phrased the story, giving its name as an "accident". No one ever could believe on what was being heard.
