Hi Computer,
Are you talking about the lindows software they are selling at $98?
The Lindows software is very much like a windows operating system from microsoft. Infact they even had a bitter legal battle for mire than one year.
But still there are lots of windows software which do not run on Lindows. Also the Lindows is not as robust as windows while it is not as secure as Linux.
In fact Lindows is a modified version of Linux Red Hat 8.0.
Easier to use but less secure.
