The February issue of the magazine MATRIX displays a muscular man knocking down mahatma gandhi. This comic book style article runs for several pages. The very first picture shows mahatma gandhi (who is refered variously as putz etc.) in a namaste position while the muscular man flexes his muscle depicting perhaps superiority over the peace loving iconic eastern figure. It appears in some sense to ridicule our eastern culture- Nepal being part of the culture.

The issue literally makes fun of peace lovers.

I know that the Indian's sued the mac sometime back regarding the mixing of veg. and non-veg. burgers or something. Is any action being taken against the magazine? Aparently No.

It appears that the magazine was let go with a simple insincere apology. http://www.indiacause.com/C17_Maxim_Gandhi.htm

I believe that only a lawsuit will take the maxim to task.
BTW let me inform the sajhites that the maxim magazine is a worthless piece of junk unworthy of our notice. Except when they try to take liberty of us.

Biruwa, heard about that new animated series on MTV? Its called Clone high and is about bringing legendary peoples to modern world via cloning. Its a comedy serial and features Lincoln, Cleopatra etc along with Mahatma Gandhi. There was an episode where Gandhi and Licoln kiss each other. Just FYI.
