PremPujariji: Dictionary bata hai :- Wisdom bhanya: The ability to discern or judge what is true, right, or lasting; insight. Common sense; good judgment: “It is a characteristic of wisdom not to do desperate things” (Henry David Thoreau). The sum of learning through the ages; knowledge: “In those homely sayings was couched the collective wisdom of generations” (Maya Angelou). Wise teachings of the ancient sages. A wise outlook, plan, or course of action. Terrestrial Bhanya: Of or relating to the earth or its inhabitants. Having a worldly, mundane character or quality. Of, relating to, or composed of land. So, this statement "Wisdom is greater than all terrestrial sciences and than all human knowledge" really does not make any sense to me. Because Wisdom is Human Knowledge. For me it makes sense to say ""Wisdom is greater than all terrestrial sciences" but adding "and than all human knowledge" does not make sense, it is redundant. Anyone? - iti

Missgrg, I agree with your statement " wisdom is greater than all terrestrial sciences and than all human knowledge". Yo saro gahiro kuro ek line maa vannuvo .......... It can be lifelong research. Wisdom = Bibek (in Nepali) It comes from innerself. Wisdom is a state of the human mind characterized by profound understanding and deep insight.(JWM) It relates with selfforgiveness, loving self, loving others, loving earth (nature and natural beings), peaceful resoluation......and so on....... :)

I too agreed with "Wisdom is greater than all terrestrial sciences and than all human knowledge". The sole word wisdon plays pivotal role in shaping terrestrial sciences and than all human knowledge. That's why we must say Wisdom has got succulent taste. Thanks ! Sajan
