....Here I am, a long way from my homeland, Nepal...far from the redolence of incence burning through the golden roof top of Shiva's domain...centuries from the dusty roads of the Terai region...and blanketed away from the cold comfort of the himalayas that oversee a country bleeding for its children...Shattered by decades of multiparty political monopolies and left wing revolutions, the country is left in shambles, gasping for breath...while the air is fouled by sins of the corrupt and inhumane....I am sorrounded in an atmosphere that warms my body, and makes me forget that for some all this doesn't even cross their minds when they are asleep...I am a punch of a button away from reading about the atrocities that have beset my homeland, I am a blink of an eye away from viewing the escalating death toll of innocent people in my homeland..I am a television set away from having to bear the silver grins of these political destitutes that supposedly guard and monitor the welfare of this humble nation and its people while they are nibbling at the remains of our nations assets....yet here I am...though minutes away from this "entertainment", light years away from bringing about change....

Reading the article, I found the thoughts towards Nepal purely sympathetic, but what I didn't get is solution or any effort of solution. If the purpose was only to highlight the misery that the writer felt, I don't want to further comment. Instead, if it was a real issue that deeply concerns him and wants to make it a part of his aim to change the stuff, I think I got to raise the question where is the effort?. To be direct, a lot of people make the case, but it is very few who tries to solve in logical way or the other. Particularly, to this article, I shoudl ask where is the solution or an attempt towards it. There are a lot of miseries if looking around the world, to which Nepal is no aloof to be a part of the trend. But, what our responsibility is and the implementation of our ability into the real world by deed, is the main question I want to raise whoever just mentions the miseries. I also found in the article, and in the lot of articles, a huge blame being placed to the leaders and the political parties. I think, that is not the proper approach being taken in my view. I seriously find the lack of behavior to change if necessary. Everybody favors democracy as the best system in the world to run the government, and democracy can neither survive without the parties nor party without leader. Like a old nepali proverb, we can't throw rice saying that it has stones, instead we should make a way to pick up and throw the stones away, similarly, we can't abort the idea of democracy, but need to get rid of the leaders who are evil doers. Practically, speaking these things are surely not as applicable as thought to be. So, what remains to us is the step towards it. I think education is. Proper and logical education to everybody about anything that we are concerned of can slowly eradicate such confussions if any. I think, that will be a problem solving way. To be to the point, I just want to suggest everybody to work on anything to which they think a problem, as I support-- thoughts, words and action should go on hand by hand.
