hi Nell, On the left hand menu, Click on Image Uploads, then you can upload a picture. Then when you view the picture you can see the location of the image such as http://www.sajha.com/uploads/overload.jpg Now copy that and paste the following on the text of your message to make the image appear. You need to put the following: <img src="http://www.sajha.com/uploads/overload.jpg"> and your image will appear as below:  Hope this helps. San |

Embedding Images into Postings - II _____________________________ If you see an image in another site that you want to share, you can do so in 2 ways. I have outlined the first method above where you would first save the image to you hard drive - upload to sajha then link to the image. The second way is to directly link to the image on the other site. For example if you go to KantipurOnline and let's say you want to share the cartoon in your sajha posting. What you need to do is: - Right Click on the Cartoon Image and select PROPERTIES - in the properties box, where it says ADDRESS, it shows you the exact physical address of the image ie in this case for the cartoon: http://www.kantipuronline.com/daily_cartoon.jpg Now you could directly link to this image by posting the following in your message: <img src="http://www.kantipuronline.com/daily_cartoon.jpg"> Which would appear as:  NOTE: If you see an image forwarded to you in your HOTMAIL or YAHOO account, you cannot use the above method since these images are only viewable using your username and password. Dear Mr. San, I presume you are the man behind this great Sajha site. I am really very grateful to you Sir, for your prompt response and thank you for taking out some of your busy time on telling me how to upload pictures in Sajha. I really appreciate that. No wonder why Sajha prides at being one of the top Site for bringing Nepalese together from all over the world, it is people like you. Kudos to you Sir. I have been posting articles in other Nepal communities too and I have hardly seen the Site Admin responding on my queries, and if there are any response, it is a faint proportion. It is just a feedback from an 'about to be regular' on your Site. I am sure you have the tendency to hide the secrets of your fellow Nepali people who come to this site very often. Understood Sir?? ;) Please do that. Just a thought, and I am sure you keep track of all the things thats going on in here with identities, postings and proposals. I donot want to be haunted by any kind of past things that has hapenned to me. Because I am open to everyone and I care for everybody's respects. Isolated Freak, The above lines from me doesn't pertain you and I donot appreciate you coming in the middle and trying to create things as if I am the culprit here. I have told things that I donot like to people with good respects, but people have traced my identity and even have called my home many times bothering me. What do you know about call at the middle of the night talking bullshit? Typical Nepali mentality, talking in the middle when the conversation doesn't relate to them whatsoever. I told the above things to San, who is behind this site and if you are the Site Admin then I dearly apologize and am sorry for the Site because the Site Admin doesn't have any kind of respect to people coming here. Isolated Freak, this is in good faith to you and donot take it otherwise but the problem here is you are coming in the middle when I didnot asked for your assurance. Or is it that the Site Admin has hired new person to talk on behalf of him? I would like to hear from him and if he doesn't feel that he is wasting his time in replying to me because this Freak guy came in the middle and talked on behalf of him, the things relating to my personal problems and daily activities that has haunted me dearly in the past, I would be really grateful.
