SJP	Posted on 06-Jun-01 01:29 PM I heard that people in Nepal were blaming Devyani Rana for what happend in Nepal. Hellooooo, She wasn't the one who triggerd the gun, Dipendra(now it is almost proven) was the one who did it. So, why are people bothering the poor girl for nothing? Most of the people seem concentrated on what happend to the Royal Family only, but let us not forget that Devyani Rana is also a daughter of Nepal like the late princess Shruti Shah. Instead of blaming and cursing her, we need to console and help her. I read in a newspaper that she left the country after the incident because she feared that the public in Nepal wouldn't leave her peacefully. Sadly,this type of things do happen in our backward society and it is a terrible thing. Devyani, wherever you are, I have my sympathy and full support for what you are going through. I pray lord PashupatiNath to ease your pain and hopefully, you will get over this soon.

It doesn't only exist in Nepal. Even Nepali living in USA or anywhere else have this low-level thinking. you can hear different name callings if a girl goes out to a bar with different guys. But same scoundrels can go out and sleep with as many girls as they want and they are not whores. Funny thing is those scoundrels end up becoming president and what not. People will continue to die as long as there is hatred and a lack of respect for everyone.
