I dont know whats wrong with my previous fourm? Anyway! again ...... I have to choose one topic for my project. I m planning to do my project on " Brain Drain". would u please provide me some informations?. I got some from web sites.But thats not enough, any reference? Please let me know. I would be thankful if anyone could avail me get some info. I got to complete it by next week so i m lil bit worried about it. Thanks |

Do u have to do a research study or what kind of project? Or is it jus a paper jesso? If it is a paper, you could give a case study of brain drain. U could give the reason behind brain drain, how it effects the countries or even the indvidual him/herself. And ways to prevent brain drain etc.... Sowwie, I don't have any websites in mind. Good luck with ur paper. |

thanks Gurl_inter..I m glad u responded.. Actually this is a paper and i need to get information especially about the effect it'd caused in Asian countries. Most of the people have migrated to US and European countries how it hampers the country's economy where they belong. But i need to present myself too i mean i should have some visual aids...in presentation. May be references...that might work anyway. I have collected some info from the sites but i need more pertinent info so that it won't mess up. thanks! i wana hear more..... |

Dear Jesso! I think your project questions is related to PH too so you can search in Yahoo.But from my personal view i think you have to mention about the young man power.Usually young people, who migrates and go for earn and as result the country has children and old people and houseworkers. I don't know whether your project related to this subject or not. Thanks |

Thanks for ur concern miss grg. I really appreciate for that. I have to be much strong in the presentation point of view, i should be able to clarify the situations it had been created using examples . this would be possible if i could gather info as much i can. I m happy u guys are concerned about it. I do agree with miss grg, i can use 'People are migrating leaving behind their spouses and children but i wanted to mention about the country's aspect not confined with the personal problems . how does it hamper the well being and contry's economy.? thanks peace! |

HI Jesso i think you didn't get me.Actually i was telling about country, the migrating ppl are always young ppl and the country always loose young man power.That means all skilled ppl are migrating too.And our country left as less developed with c hildren,old ppl etc.Simply we can say countries economy is young skilled ppl. |

Try to read up on the history of Taiwan. The widely mourned "brain drain" from the 1950s and 60s returned in the 70s with experience and money to invest... that was the main cause of the island's economic take-off in the 70s. Perhaps similar things are happening with Silicon Valley returnees in Bangalore... |

Recently, '60 minutes' in ABC presented a very related documentry in brain drain. It talked about the number of people migrating to US from India specially those graduated from IIT. IIT produces best engineers and scientists and most of them happen to migrate to US. Even though India cannot provide for the best working environment for the graduates from IIT, India does not lose it all. Once they migrate, they are still helping their family at home by sending them money even though US gets the better end. The documentry included extensive interveiw with the students as well as some of the IIT professors (i beleive). you should check out the ABC webisite. |

Oys sent me his whole paper that helped me a lot ..and DWI helped me to collect the info regardging the cause and effects. Msgrg helped me to include some genuine examples. So, narrow it down to the specific questions that you will be addressingh in your paper. 1. How 2. Why etc. its not as difficuult as you are thinking it to be. Good luck on your paper. |
