The Eyes (It might seem it happened to me, since it is in first-person point of view, but in fact, it is fictional -- I said that to just make things clear, and I mean CLEAR!!) It was the first day to my high school. I had to pick up my schedule, and the next day, the school scession would start. I walked up to the bus stop, which was ten blocks away from me -- I could have taken the train, but I thought, "Why not take the bus? It is much less crowded." The sun shined as bright as a light bulb turned on right infront of your eyes! It was a pleasant day -- seagulls were singing over the East River, and the smell of perfumes were rumbling around my nose, as I walked towards the bus-stop. As I was walking, numerous thoughts were looming around my mind -- "Will I be accepted by my aquantices?" or "Will I be discarded like a gum wrapper thrown on the street?" I was nervous. Although my school hadn't started yet, I was still nervous about taking the schedule. Time flew, and without even noticing, I reached the stop. I realized that I was very early. I decided to hang around a bit. I went around, roaming like an aimless teenager to every shop I could see. After a while, I came back to the bus stop. An extreme case of boredom was all over me. I just leaned on the wall of the Duane Reade store besides the stop. (to be continued...)
