Where are the 'active' sajhaites when they are needed the most. A fellow nepali student recently posted this thread in kurakani. He seems to be in desperate need. He needs our help!!! I'm suprised that none of the regulars of sajha (dareI mention their names?) have posted anything in that thread. Hyaa bhandinchu! ashu, Sitara, Rusty, Desh_bhakta_bhattarai, poo dai, comfy bhai, missgrg (new face) and others.. Why aren't you guys responding to that thread? Anyway, If you haven't got a chance to read his thread here is an abstract of it. >>DESPERATE >>Dear Friends, >>I am in serious trouble....I happened to bring money only for the first semester. >> I have not paid the bill for this semester, my collge is threatening to cancel my classes and report me to INS. >>I would be really really grateful if any of you can suggest me a way out of this >>problem. >> Please help me out friends. I would really appreciate your help. if you wanna read the responds and what montou and others have been suggesting him you can read the whole rope. At least, you can comment on montou's sly words. I think that dude is upto something. http://www.sajha.com/sajha/html/openthread.cfm?forum=2&threadID=9249 You guys are great thinkers/ writers. I love reading some of your threads, jokes, and stories ( I prefer short ones re kya feri). No offence, tara I found you guys to be a bit selfish and self-centered when I read your comment on oyseter's thread about his guitar. Bichara bhai Oyster! How much he wanted that guitar. ( Oys! Why did you have to like the particular guitar? Can't you go for another guitar? I'm sure you can find plenty of them in the market.I hope you will find another guitar in no time. Maybe you will find an electric one;) ) Anyhoo, I was saying that nobody felt the pain oys was feeling after losing his pran-bhanda-piyaro guitar. None of the regulars even tried to understand what he was writing. The were too busy criticizing his "work". They thought it was one of his 'memory lane/gulli' sotries and continued praising him. oh well! Oys le yo thread dekho bhane, he will be like -- SIRI MA SIRI BAISAKO BELA UHILEKO KURA KHUILERA GAYO NAGARA TYO KURA FAKAAUDAIMA....... Anyway, I hope you will prove me wrongthis time by putting your genuine thoughts on the issue Bickey is facing ( both financial and soon-to-be religious). good luck, dangggg

Dangggg, I can't speak for others. So, let me speak for myself. There are things one can do, and there are things one cannot do, and much of maturity, as I have learnt, consists of doing the things one can, very very well, while delegating or leaving the rest to others who can. Helping B Rimal FROM Kathmandu with his college issues in America is something I really wish I could do, but, realistically, I cannot -- logistically and financially. Fortunately, friends like Montou et al -- who are actually in the US -- have lent their hands to BR, and I, as a Nepali and a sajha visitor, am all the more appreciative of Montou et al's innate good sense, their tenacity to do something for BR and their leadership on the matter. Being quietly appreciative of Good Samaraitans like Moutou et al is the best I can do from Nepal in this particular case, while wishing BR all the best. I would think that this too is a contribution, however small and insignificant this may seem to some. oohi ashu ktm, nepal oohi ashu ktm, nepal
