If you read the eyewitness stories carefully, there are minor conflicting details. Such as who did what. etc.
Well, witnesses can argue that because of the mayhem, they couldn't remember it too well, but this can also mean that the story has been concocted.
If the witnesses can be put in different rooms and interrogated with detailed questions, I think we might be able to catch instances where the story is not the same.
But who will and who has the power to do that?
