Hi all,
On every Poornima (Full Moon), Kirateswor Sangeet Ashram at Pashupati hosts an evening classical music program, out in the anicent cobbled, tree-lined court-yard of
the Kirateswor Mahadev Temple -- showcasing the talents of some of the finest and
up-coming Nepali classical musicans.
Entrance is FREE.
The next program is this Tuesday evening (Fagu Poornima).
This time the musicians are:
Steve, an American, on Sitar
Chandi Upreti (classical vocal)
Bikash Nath Yogi on violin
and a medley of Bhakti-sangeet by Binayak Shumsher Rana and friends.
On another note, the Sangeet Ashram is putting up its own Web site soon.
