His Majesty the King and Her Majesty the Queen are going on a week
long India tour next week. This is said entirely a "Private" trip.
However, the King has been invited by the Hindu spiritual leaders
including His Holiness Shri Shankaracharya of Kanchi Kamakothi Peath
of South India. Their Majesties will take part in a special Vedic
Rituals and fire sacrifice that is organized at Kanchi at Tamil
Nadu, and also will audience several Hindu Spiritual Leaders and
some BJP and BHP High Command leaders of India. The Meeting is
expected to resolve several bilateral issues that Nepal and India
are having these days, including an easy access of Nepalese
Commodities in the Huge Indian Market. Some other issues like
Extradition Agreement Procedures, Maoists as well as some Border
problems are also likely to be dealt in a very High-manner in this
brief Private Royal visit. Also a meeting with the Maoist high-
