it would all be so simple if things always worked out. If projects always succeeded. If businesses always made money. But some schmuck always screws it all to hell. So be it. Just make sure you`re not the one holding the bag. Even if it really was your fault.

Well, people learn from mistakes they make. Sometimes it pays you to be the bag holder, in a long run. Make sure you are apologetic and assure your collegues that you won't be holding a bag next time.
