Source: www.rmfn.org. Can someone verify this? Heard a rumor that Nabin Bhattarai is performing at ANA convention. It will be a great pleasure to see him performing live. Arguably, he is the most popular performer in today's nepali entertainment. He is also one of those rare (maybe the biggest) spokesperson for different Nepali/foreign products. His popularity is beyond belief in Nepali market. I am pretty sure that the convention will benefit greatly if he comes. So bring him in... |

Nabin Bhattarai may be popular but he should also be held accountable for certain social injustices. Long ago I read in SEBSonline.org discussion site that he has not duly compensated his fellow song writers. Not even a penny while he make thousands of ruppees. Navin deserves to be paid for his talent, SO DO THE SONG WRITERS? Thus I request ANA not to bring Nabin K. Bhattarai unless he agrees to pay certain percentage to song writers. Should ANA succeed to do that, it will add a whole lot of meaning to "getting fairly compensated" for song writers as well. If NOT then mass protest and boycott should be in the offing. It has not been fixed if Nabin K. Bhattarai is coming. The Cultural Program Committee has not decided yet. But he is on top of the list............ Let you know when it's decided................... |

Guys who are in US and participating in ANA are quite lucky. They can see Nabin's performance. It's pity to say that I am in UK and can not participate in ANA. Although I am a fan of Nabin Bhattarai. He really has own identity in nepali musical market. Thanks ! Sajan |
