Bush has failed diplomacy and so has dozen or two leaders around the world. This shows me that being a leader, studying in top colleges, and traveling does not give people any new perspective. It does not take a brain surgeon to figure out that the only way to defeat Sadaam was by bombing Iraq. The first thing that i want to do when someone disagrees with me is hit them in their face. But i know it is wrong, first and foremost and I worry about the repurcussions of my action. I along with other student have always been taught in school that "Violence is not the way." But kids growing up...how will they perceive this action of Bush? Who is going to tell them that violence "is not the way." Americans will have to live in fear. Fear of getting killed, being bombed, being abducted, etc. It is the normal people who will suffer not Bush. For God's sake he has body guards at his beck and call.

White countries and leaders have always under estimated people of color. Are white people worth more than other people? September 11 became "a big deal" because so many white lives were lost. I could give one example to support my statement. Most of us heard a lot about the club fire in Rhode Island. But how many of us hear about club fire in ghetto neighborhood of Chicago where "black" people died as well.

I think we all need to raise our voice not with bomb but with pen. PEACE

Elmer ji...
When it is NOT your child going to war.... others are highly expendable for a higher cause! And No! Wisdom does not necessarily come from education...we just become ill/educated consumers of information that suit our frame of mind.

PEACE!!!
