Shahi’s story begs a number of questions. First, could a man who was so drunk that he had to be escorted to his room carry two heavy rifles and fire them accurately? Second, if Dipendra kept coming in and going out of the hall, why didn’t the ADCs, who were in an adjoining room, or the guards on patrol outside, take any action? Dipendra was right-handed, but he was shot in the left temple. And when he was shot he was standing next to a wall that was on his right. That suggests an alternative hypothesis: that Dipendra came out of his room hearing shots and was gunned down from the left. Which is more plausible than the theory that he used his left hand to shoot himself. It is unclear whether there is any physical evidence left for the commission to base its findings on. All the bodies have been cremated; the scene of the crime has yet to be examined a week after the massacre; it is unlikely that accurate ballistic reports will be available. In the end, the inquiry will probably put the blame on Dipendra. But though the evidence is gone, the doubts refuse to be wished away.

If you pay attention to those Questions then somehow it will lead you to the other topic about the Connection between Paras and Shahi. He might be returning his favor or hoping for future favors. Rest of the witnesses are either scared of their lives, or being sycophants and hoping for future favors. Aakhir ma Paras is the son of the King.

Very GOOD points indeed. And couple of other points that prove the Rajiv Shahi's accout to be just made up stories: 1. Dipendra was heavily drunk and there were many people in the party who could easily outnumber him and control him. Yes he is said to have rifles in his hand but he was dead drunk wasn't he and falling from time to time (my God...they take us for a fool to believe this) then why couldn't anyone control Dipendra. 2. The party consists of the royal family, I am sure all of them had mobiles. Then why the hell didn't they call the nearest source for help instead of just staying in the room and hiding. The story says Paras was hiding, ofcourse he had a mobile, then why didn't he call for help. It is certain that there were more helping sources inside the palace because ITS THE ROYAL PALACE, THE KING LIVES THERE. These are the question that i could not figure out the answers.
