Skit: Boys will be boys by Homeyji (Recommended that you read story first time through before you look at the bottom for the real players...which I'm sure most of you will figure out) It started off of what was a boys basketball game in the highschool gym coached by Coach Unca. One of the promising athletes, Rocky, having a tendency toward arrogance, intentionally fouled Wyatt, a boy smaller in size than the rest of the team mates. Despite the coach's blowing the whistle on him, Rocky refused to acknowledge his fault. (Just to put things in perspective, it's been rumored that Rocky has had his eyes on Wyatt's gorgeous girlfriend for sometime). Finally, the top player of the team, Sam, had enough. He stepped up to Rocky, and told him to either acknowledge his fault or he, Sam, was going to kick Rocky's ass. Thus indimidated, Rocky backed down and things were kept from getting too ugly. But Sam went a step farther than everyone expected him to. He insisted that Rocky be kicked off the team, arguing that Rocky's arrogant, bullying nature was a threat to all the players on the team. Coach Unca and a lot of the other players thought that Sam was over reacting, but Sam has been insistent on his position. (But there's another factor that's been well known around the school for sometime: though Sam is by far the best basketball player on the team, it's been a well known fact that Rocky's the one that's favored by the popular girls in school. Some boys are just born with that innate natural charm and charisma, and Rocky definitely plays his God given gifts to his advantage. It's known that if Rocky was out of the scene, Sam would have much better chances with the beauties of the highschool. ) Using the incident in that particular game, Sam has gone on a campaign to go after Rocky. He has tried to pull considerable leverage (as the most valuable player on the team) to influence Rocky's expulsion. But so far to no avail. Sam has ranted and raved that anyone who doesn't support Rocky's expulsion is just plain weak hearted. A lot of people have tried to reason with him and have given up. Sam, on the other hand, says that he feels like he is single-handedly trying to maintain the "sportsmanship and school spirit" by himself. He has gone so far as to say that whomever is unsupportive of his position with Rocky, including the coach and the principal, are irrelevant to the betterment of the school. After trying repeatedly by begging and threatening to get his way, and failing (after all, Sam is better known for his athletic prowess than his people and diplomatic skills), Sam decided to do things his way. He's convinced a few of his jock friends that they have to take things in their own hands to maintain the school spirit since none of the adults in the school have the balls or brains to take action. They've decided to jump Rocky after school behind the basketball courts and beat him up so badly that he can forget playing basketball for a long long time.
