---- sht_sundarism@yahoo.com The economic aspect of the political leaders must be discuss in peace talk Today we are very much hopeful from the current political development of country and lets expect concrete output for peace, security and prosperity of Nepal and Nepalese. Yes, I am talking about the peace talk among Maoist, all political parties and government. And I like to wish for fruitful output so that basic guide line for nation could find out as well as it should be sustainable and flexible so that it could address current and future Nepalese peoples needs and wants rather than it likes an agreement based on power politics. We get the major points that they were more concentration on three points in talk that is round table conferences, constitutional assembly and interim government. These are the political issues and hope that it will be solve in proper way. Since all Nepalese were expecting the concrete output from this talk that can guide for nation, I would like to strong and humble request from Nepalese people to concentrate on economic issue related with political leaders, i.e. The economic theory for political leaders . I think politics is a profession and in any profession there should be inherent source for survival of human. Since political involvement is for pure social service there will be also not expect the economic benefits and rewards as business man do. It is well accepted but we have the truth of our past experiences and evident that how this truth is well practice in practical. I dont think that there is necessary to talk more. I think there is not proper guide line for the leader to earn or accumulate the wealth in his political career and we have also not such welfare practise in our nation for the leaders to secure their life for contributing absolute social service. So that also for the social security and so called social prestige it seems that they try to accumulate the wealth as possible as they could. Thus we see here the lack of two things; these are lack of proper guideline in regard of economic aspect of political leaders and lack of their social security from involving in pure social service. So I would like to request to contribute to formulate in regard of this economic theory from all intellectual bodies and concern groups especially from economic students. It is an opportunity to me in this right time to penetrate my view to consider in the economic aspect of political leaders at round table conference. If we able to raise this point and able to make even general guide line or code of conduct, I think it will fertile for researcher and students related in this field to develop theories. So I do believe it makes academic discussion for future too. From the past 13 years there we hardly find the fair and free discussion on theoretical and ideological aspect from political leaders. But the major frustration created to public from the political arena is the attitude related with economic factors of political leaders. The involvement in corruption, commission, irregular and unethical activities for economic benefit of major political leaders is the one of central points of creating frustration. Emergence of new elite groups from political leaders, exploiting developmental fund is our serious problem. Which make not only affect the development aspect of country but the leaders fair contribution on his pure social service and national development kept in shadow. I think one of the causes for happening these things are lack of correct guide line in economic aspect of our political leaders. While these things will be placed in the talk table there may emerge various visions and ways to tackle this issue. May suggestions and views came out from various external profession and public. This will definitely help to control the bad mentality of leaders and help to systemize the politics. What the points and things that there should be discussed? How it should be? What output can we expect in this regard? Can we fair discuss? I would like to request for consider in this matter in your own way. Lets try; it may be significant contribution for nation and us. And now can we fair talk on my view in this regard. How you friends would you like to correct and enlarge in my opinions when I put on you the following opinions? Lets try to accumulate the opinions in this regard from your side too. Such as the points from my side may be like this. If politics is done for pure social service the economic benefits from any source after his participation in the public post, is it will be fair to nationalize their wealth after his death? Can we determined the minimum and maximum wealth required for maintain the life style of various category of leaders? Can we clear in the matters of obtaining commission and economic benefits? Can we launch the official audit system and public publication of annual wealth position? Who may and from which post above or May all be include in these category? Can we talk about the social security of those leaders? What will be the role of state to preserve social security of those personalities? Can we derive this principal for all bureaucratic and officers too, Or needs else theory and consideration? etc. Hope that there will not be not ignore to discuss in cool mind for the solution of all national problems including these things.
