Get out of here! No one is going to need asylum, because we are going to protect freedom of speech in Nepal. We just need to make enough noise about the Kantipur editors at this point! Notice, their case has already been reduced from treason to a lesser issue.

Okay. I can feel both of your sentiments. I don't hold grudge against anyone applying for the asylum visa, or protecting Nepali rights. All I can say to the Nepalese in the US (including myself) is you cannot solve a problem by simply running away from it. That's what we have done by coming to the US.

Dear Mr. Puskar, Thanks for your input. It seems like you would like to make a difference in this world. Every one of us is capable of doing so, but you have to take a stand and DO something not just SAY something and do something else, which is hippocracy. I am deeply affected by what had happened in Nepal and could not beleive it. In this confusion and unexpected, unimaginable incident, I have decided to help Nepali People living in the US without working visa or any visa so that they may get the global opportunities. I am not running away, I am running toward becoming global citizen. Here on GBNC, a lot educated people like Harvard graduate Ashu Tiwari and many others are constantly clearing clouds from our heads by writing highly and distinctively. It is good to raise these issues for the readers and I think you are also trying to do so. I welcome you to take an opportunity to look into Asylum visa for someone you know, who might need one. Yes, it is necessary for us to have a freedom of speech in this world. Peace. Robin Pandey CEO InfoInform

Madanji, I also thought the same way. Later, I realized that there are thousands of Nepali working for Indians under the table in America, where as Indians Sahuji have greencard and business. Indians help another Indian establish in America, but Nepali usually is jealous of another Nepali because we are missing a large picture. Indians are taking the benefit of every opportunities to get work permit or green card. They are enjoying IT training and jobs, where as Nepali Daju Bhai bustin dishes for living. So, kudos to Robinji, who is giving information for for Nepali to get establish in this country.

waiter ji, you could visit at ins.gov (web site) and then click on "how do i", you will find all the info. you need on how to apply for Asylum visa in the usa. hiring a lawyer would be a smart move if you're serious about it. please don't rely on other sources especially in a sensitive case like this. good luck!!

InfoInform: It seems that this thread is an advertisement for your services about Assylum Visa, Telephone Cards and so on. Why don't you advertise this in classifieds section of and leave this section for intellectual brain storming. Gandhi

Yes, InfoInform is commercial. But our CEO Robin Pandey is offering this service to Nepali, who needs it and do not know about it for FREE. Of course you will be guided heavily and some cases will be advised to seek an attorney.
