Hi friends,It was hard to find a job for me but finally I got it and still I have people asking me if I know other people who would like to work and get paid with cash. I am not kidding..if you guys are looking for a job......here it goes.... 1) India Club, Mass Ave....go and ask for Mr. Bichiter Singh 2) Das International Grocery Store. It is near Holiday Inn in Washington Street...ask for Rana. 3) Kashmir India in Newbury Street. Ask for Sunny. They are always looking for people. 4) Royal India in Central Square, 313 Mass. Ave. 5) Banglore Club...ask for Chaman Bhai phone- 781-721-2582 Please don't call them because the waiters will pick the phone and may not be nice with you so just go to see them with the given name, they will give you a job. Hurry or it might be taken. I did suffer a lot for a job. I would be happy if I can be of some help. Good luck friends. |

Dear Premba, Do you have a visa to work? If you have a visa then it is not that hard to get a decent job otherwise whether we are engineer or doctor it is really hard to get a good job here. If you don't have a visa you can work in those above given places. If you have a work visa then you can go to the website like www.hotjobs.com OR www.bostonworks.com OR monster.com They have a lot of jobs posted there. Good luck man. |

Pemba, Do you have a visa to live in United States? You got to have visa first....student visa will do...then you got to work on getting social secuirity number....you have to have that number to work... |

Pemba ji, To work in these Indian restaurants you don't need a visa. They pay you in cash. If you are living in Boston you can find the address in the yellow pages. Go to "Restaurant" Section and look for Indian restaurant.Hope this helps. |

I think it is like $1600 a month but you have only a day off in a week You can eat all meals there. It goes from 8.00AM till 11.00PM and you have long breaks. They don't pay you hourly....yeah that is the disadvantage of not having the work permit.... |
