I was not paying much attention to my paychecks until now, but today I looked at my statement and I  was wodenring if I was doing something wrong. The deductions on my paycheck are: FICA-SS - This is about 4% of my salary                                                                    FICA- Med - This is about 2% of my salary                                                                    Federal W/H - This is about 10% of my salary I was under the impression that SS and Med would not be witheld since I am a non-resident alien (This is my fifth year in the USA). Anyone who has had previous experience with this, I would appreciate any help/insight.
