 @blue_devil: It seems to me that the Nepalese Association is in Fargo, where North Dakota State University is. I am moving to Grand Forks, University of North Dakota. @Kittys: That info did not help much.    Does anybody have any information if some Nepalese students or organizations in University of North Dakota or in Grand Forks can be of some help?   Thanks

 Try contacting someone from Moorhead (a ton of Nepalese study there), too. Maybe they'll be able to help you.

@Hanuman…only way to do that is go back to your home country and apply F1 visa. There is no way to change the visitor visa to F1.
