 sorry to break it to you, but he's not getting any younger  and no, he isn't getting any scholarship either. This is the prize he - more like his parents - are gonna get, given that this child wins: "There is one Grand Prize to be won consisting of the winner’s child's photo on the 2013 September issue of Today’s Parent magazine. Now tell me, why on earth should I (or anyone) vote for this innocent boy, whom (who? always confuses me!) you/his parents are using to fulfill their vacation fantasies?

 Haha funny!  Have too much time on hand ey?.  So you read all the disclaimer, as a snitch, but failed to notice that this baby boy and his family already lives in Toronto, so clearly they won't be needing that Vacation. The reason they are spending too much of their time is to win great prizes for sure, but also  to help Mayan get comfortable with all the attention he will  get at the photo shoot, If he wins. Fingers Crossed! So he Just Need Your VOTE.. Please::) & not your two-cents. Blah lol :)

Mayan is cute ! अनि तेस्माथी आफ्नो बच्चा त सबैलाई cute एंड adorable लागिहाल्छ | I have one cute too, who plays all the time with me and is panacea of all the pains. I would participate in these types of votings if the child is showing some talent (song, dance etc) which is far better than average child of that age. [i know this particular one 'today's parents' is only about photo shot]. Or, if such voting appeal/campaign involve helping underpriviledged kids ( I am always up for anything that is intented to help bring smiles on underpriviledged child/kids). ani someone writes on facebook, sabai Nepali le vote halera jitau re ! ..... yesko barema bho kehi nabhanaam. I suspected the OP was lying and found out that he/she was. I don't think things change much even though they're already in Toronto.  Like laure bro said, bring me a kid with some talent and I will support him/her. I think the desire/hunger (you name it) to win the prize is evident, but I don't get a lot of todays' parents' mentality of  "but also  to help Mayan get comfortable with all the attention he will  get at the photo shoot, If he wins"  Tell me, why does a 16 month old kid needs to get so much [Public] attention? Well, you might say, "It's my kid, I can ..... BS....!" And you may. All I'm trying to say is y'all are advertising your kids, like a mexican trying to sell melons on a Texas highway, and I feel sorry for the melons, who have no clue why they're being all polished up and displayed to the public.  To all the people posting shenanigans and giving unnecessary advices on this page, Please be reminded that this is not for a talent contest we are asking votes for. This is a contest for a chance to win a photo shoot for Joe fresh, a clothing company, like you know, somebody gotta sell those baby clothes??!!  Knowing Mayan, he's great with camera, He loves to keep his composure and pose for the camera. Besides, being able to sing few nursery rhymes and recite A-H,  This is something he has shown to us as a "talent" in this 17months..he is just Too adorable!!!.. But again, this is not a "Talent contest" if it was, we would've proudly  post as one. There are about nine thousands parents, who think that their babies are capable of this, which is why they have enrolled their children in this contest and we are no less. Just because you three men have nothing better to do than spent this much hours posting rubbish, which clearly are not even related!! go take a hike or something! this page does not concern you!!! And if you're one of those parents who hates such exposure of children in media like this then its fine you are allowed to think whatever, just turn the electronics off and go build a school or something:p...  Now idk how much Mayan would appreciate this later, but lets say if he wanted to try his hands onto fashion industry, I think he would really be thankful to his parents for starting him earlier. Whatever it is! If he wins its great!! He will enjoy the 500dollars gift certificate and the photoshoot, he will make friends and would just learn to be comfortable around people away from his family. Just a learning step. And if he advances in the competition with Todays' parent, to win the scholarship of up to two thousands dollars, Than its even great for his parents. Remember this is Canada, we start for our children's education as soon as we plan to have children. Trust me, When we say "it's for our son" it is really for our son only TRUST ME. And it's unfortunate of you if you think otherwise!! This is the 21st Century, Everyone relies on internet now and old-school roons like you guys, always makes things so complicated. lol  So please Vote for likes! If you think Mayan looks adorable posing for a camera than vote:).. Thank you:):)

I normally speak against posts that hide under the internet veil and disrobe a real person, whose identity is exposed. But if you are exposing yourself (or your loved one) then I have to say you kinda did it to yourself. Having said that, I'd have voted but I hate going through the registration process. Also, the original post didn't give us any reason why I should be voting for anybody's son/daughter who I don't know at all.

 aurora, I've said all I had. I just hope that this beautiful boy doesn't turn into an attention whore when he grows up. We all (to a certain degree) are attention whores, and things seem to be going downhill with every newer generation. I'm not going to vote, but I wish him the best. Just saw Knee Run's post down below. When I initially responded to this thread, I didn't notice that they're already in Toronto. I apologize for saying that the parents are using the kid for their vacation fantasies. Now, whether the parents registered him just for the prizes or for something else, I don't know and don't really care. But it irritates me when folks register their children to competitions like these, and most disgusting of all - beauty pageants. And (this might be a little too much of generalization, but...) they troll EVERY SINGLE social media they have access to asking for votes, almost always with the key phrase you wrote on your second post - "Right now he is 3rd in the competition, and need all Nepalese Votes to support him." WHY?
