Krishna: you should not scold that hard. Billions of dollars are hacked through cyber crime. In legal terms he is not stealing but he is defaulting his payments and millions of customers defaults their loan. Even Donalt Trump file bankruptcy 3 times and millions of dollars loss had to bear by creditors. Like uninsured moterist insurance is in your car insurance , all credit card has default insurance. Most people max out their cards before leaving US for good.

But it sounds like he intends not to pay - which is very different from circumstances that lead to defaulting. Xoom; this is not a good idea. Your actions may not have immediate impact but in the long run there may be other consequences. Would you be able to live peacefully knowing what you did was wrong? Believe in Karma - what goes around comes around. Honesty and integrity is important in life - be a good citizen. Call your lenders and work out how you can solve this issue.
