Hello, An acquaintance (US Citizen) of mine wants to sponsor his brother's GC. Since his brother's already been issued a tourist visa and is currently visiting the US, 1. Will he be prevented from entering the US if his brother were to file his I485? 2. How long of a gap should there be between his return (to Nepal) and return back to the US? Is it true that he should wait for up to 6 months?
