Dear Sajha Friends, My mom is scheduled for an interview this week for the US visitor visa (B2). I have provided her all the required documents such as, appointment confirmation letter, passport, application fee slip, DS-160 Confirmation page print out, recent 2 x 2 photo. However I have seen conflicting information on supporting documents. Dear sajha friends if you have a recent experience with B2 visa application/interview process, could you please share your experience regarding the supporting document and the interview itself? Also do they provide any sitting accommodation while waiting in line for people with health problems? Thanks in advance for your kind response! PS: My mom is unemployed with no savings, so I will be bearing all the expenses for my mother's visit and she will be staying with me during her US visit. Bro, if you are PR, then I dont think there will be any issues. But you never know the interviewer. Yes there will be seatings inside. As per documents these days they do not require any financial affidavit or any documents as they will not check anything. One thing here concerns me though regarding health, they might have thinking that as your mom dont have any savings, they might think she would go US for her health checkup and wont be able to pay for that. But dont worry these days I heard they are giving VISAs for visitors. Coz noone from Nepal as students wants to come here in US lol. And their income from applicants are in nearly might have cut down to 30 percent

my parents interview 2 weeks ago: Docs brought: DS160 confirmation, PP photo and interview appointment confirmation. As they were elderly (in 70s), they were put in front for the interview after passing thru the security, so not even waiting inside. Questions asked (of course in Nepali): Kaslai bhetna jadai hunuhunchha? Kati barsa bhayo chhora US gako? Tehi basne plan chha ki chhaina? Both were told they were approved for the B2 visas and got those few days later.
