The lawyer has not sued me or reached out to me. I found out that he was registered in NY bar association and provided that information to the person in prison. Since he does not have an access to the computer, he said he will request prison guard to help him file a complaint and try to get the money back. I have not met him after that. Hopefully, he filed a report against the lawyer. My goal was to inform the community about how to deal with bad lawyers, and what is a typical scenario of a lawyer screwing a client. If anything, I want people to do their due diligence and not trust their lawyer blindly.
