What did your travel agent say? I think they give hotel accommodation.

They provide travel accommodation if your transit time is between eight and 24 hours, but you need to have purchased their tickets at Standard fare, not the promotional fare. Call Qatar Airways to confirm otherwise you would have to pay by yourself for the Hotel fee. https://www.qatarairways.com/e...

QA will provide hotel only if the earliest flight to your destination is more than 8 hours away. Keep in mind, it does not matter which flight you bought. For example, if you land at Doha at 4 pm and your next flight is at 8 am, you wont get a hotel if there are any flights that departs to KTM before 12 am of next day. Technically, you have more than 8 hours of transit but you made it a longer transit by opting to take a later flight. Hope that makes sense.
