The original reason why the fire trucks were delayed is that the blockade happened exactly when I flew to Nepal to sign the necessary agreements with the government to import the trucks. In celebration of India's historic announcement today that it was behind the 2015/16 economic blockade against Nepal, a fact which the Indian government has steadfastly denied until today's announcement, we are screening the preview of an feature-length documentary film about the blockade. Filmed by Sisan Baniya and Samson Karki, the documentary chronicles the blockade and proves India's involvement.
