अमेरिकास्थित ओहायोको चौबाटोमा तीन गाडी एक आपसमा ठोक्किँदा नेपाली मूलका दुई नागरिकको मृत्यु भएको छ। गत शनिबार राति १० बजे मोर्स सडक र सनबर्न सडक जोड्ने चौबाटोमा तीन गाडी एकआपसमा ठोक्किँदा ४ जना घाइते भएका हुन्। दुर्घटनामा परी नेपाली मूलका २४ वर्षीया अञ्जु विश्वकर्मा र कुमारी विश्वकर्माको मृत्यु भएको र अर्की २२ वर्षीया सृजना विश्वकर्माको अवस्था गम्भीर रहेको स्थानीय प्रहरीले आफ्नो फेसबुक पेजमार्फत् विज्ञप्ति जारी गरेको छ। घानाका कोबी स्टिलवेलले चलाएको अडी ए ६ कार इस्टबाउन्ड रोडबाट आउँदै गरेको थियो। त्यस गाडीमा जाशन स्कट र खलिब वाटसन सवार रहेका थिए। कोबी स्टिलवेल र खलिब वाटसन सामान्य घाइते भइ ग्रान्ट मेडिकल सेन्टरमा उपचार गरिएको थियो। जाशन स्कट भने गम्भीर घाइते भइ माउन्ट कार्मेल इस्ट अस्पतालमा भर्ना गरिएको छ। स्टिलवेको गाडी टोयोटा क्यामरीमा ठोक्किएको हो। जसमा अञ्जु विश्वकर्मा, कुमारी विश्वकर्मा र सृजना सवार थिए। पछि स्टिलवेको गाडी फेरि टोयोटा टाकोमा नामक खाली गाडीमा ठोक्किएको थियो। त्यहाँका स्थानीय फिलेमोन गोपालले आफ्नो फेसबुकमा सेयर गर्दै कुमारी र अञ्जु आमाछोरी दुर्घटना परी मृत्यु भएको भन्दै समवेदना प्रकट गरेका छन्। यद्यपी प्रहरीले भने उनीहरूको सम्बन्ध खुलाएको छैन। घटनाबारे अनुसन्धान भइरहेको प्रहरीले जनाएको छ। https://www.facebook.com/profi...

Two people were killed and two others were critically injured in a three-vehicle crash Saturday night on the Northeast Side. Anju Biswakarma, 24, of Columbus, and a woman whose identity was not released early Sunday, died at the scene of the crash that occurred around 10 p.m. Saturday at the intersection of Morse and Sunbury roads, according to Columbus police. Police said the unidentified woman was driving a Toyota Camry westbound on Morse Road, east of Sunbury Road, when the car collided with a Audi A6 going eastbound on Morse Road driven by 18-year-old Kobie Stillwell of Gahanna. Stillwell’s car then struck a Toyota Tacoma pickup truck. Passersby helped Stillwell and his two passengers out of the car just before it caught fire, police said. Biswakarma and her sister, Srijana Biswakarma, 22, were passengers in the Camry. Srijana Biswakarma was taken to Mount Carmel East Hospital with life-threatening injuries, as was 17-year-old JaShawn Scott, of Gahanna, who was a passenger in Stillwell’s car, according to police. Stillwell and a second passenger, Khaleb Watson, 17, of Columbus, were taken to OhioHealth Grant Medical Center with injuries that were not life-threatening, police said. The accident remains under investigation. The two deaths bring to 56 the number of traffic fatalities in the city of Columbus in 2019. https://www.dispatch.com/news/...
