बर्मामा भएको सैनिक कु को बारेमा एउटा रिपोर्ट बनाउन अनुरोध आयो | नेपाल र नेपाली संग सम्बन्धित बाहेक अरु बिषयमा मा चासो राख्दिन - बर्माको बारेमा पढेको सुनेको पनि थिइन | तर, बर्मामा धेरै नेपालीभाषी बस्छन भन्ने त थाहा थियो| सैनिक कूले त्यहाँ बस्ने नेपालि लाइ पनि पक्कै असर गरेको छ ..  बर्माको अहिलेको अबस्थाको बारेमा रिपोर्ट बनाएँ पछि ... त्यहाँ को अति नै दर्दनाक अबस्था देखेपछि .. त्यहाँ का वासिन्दा प्रति अति नै सहानुभूति जागृत भयो |   साना साना बालिकाहरुलाई समेत गोलि हानेर मारेका रहेछन .. अनि, यो पोष्ट चाँहि -- बर्मामा साँच्ची नै १ मिलियन गोर्खा छन होला त ? भन्ने प्रश्नको उत्तर खोज्नको लागि हो  त्यो भनेको त ठुलो संख्या पो हो त !! विकिपीडियामा कुनै श्रोता नदिइ लेखिएको छ : "The estimated population of Gurkha is nearly 1 million.The majority of Gurkha now reside in Yangon (Rangoon), Mandalay, Pyin U Lwin, Mogok, Tamu, Kalaymyo, Taunggyi, and other parts of the country. " It seems, there isn't any official statistics of the Nepali speaking population in Burma. There are numerous other ethnic groups in Burma but, Nepali or Gurkha never comes up in the official statistics.  As the total population is 53.6 million  and if Gurkha population is 1 million that would be about 2 percent of population - that is a huge portion of the population to ignore (That's why, I don't believe the number - 1M) Does anybody know how to find the details or data?
