Background is important but if you are willing to learn and dedicate your time there are consultancies willing to train you for free if u wanna get in to IT. Lookup consultancies in places like Dallas NJ or where u from in sites like sulekha or may be even try googling. I doubt anyone here is willing to help coz apparently people here have all the time in the world to talk about nonsense things but when someone is looking to get some knowledge or hear experiences from people who have been through it they don't have the time. I know a few consultancies that will train you for free in things like devops so msg me if u need info.

Hi noob, is devops related to cyber security? or is that a different sector?

It is IT. Lot of info on YouTube about what devops is.

DevOps and eventual DevSecOps will be good path way to work in cyber, if you are really interested. If you directly try to land into cyber job , most likely you won’t excel on it and regret it. Personal opinion though.
