I can't get the direct link to work, but if you look up "UMD/UTA/ST.CLOUD and a lot of these kind of univer racial demographics," you'll see a link to a PDF titled "UMD undergraduate student profile that breaks down enrollment by race and you'll see that about 20% of students are Asian. And whites are underrepresented as well. And overall, black students actually are about right where they should be in enrollment. And based on the numbers given, it looks like multiracial, unknown races, and international students were also lumped in with white and Asian students to reach that "80% white and Asian enrollment."

It is a shame for sure! The whole race and caste hierchy is the social construct. However, this social contruct has marginalized some group for many centuries. I think that those marginalized group certainly need to be encouraged and bring to the mainstream politics and economics for the greater good. Otherwise, it is bad for the privileged class also because they will have to keep doing the heavy lifting. BTW, I also went to UMD.
