Former prime minister and Nepali Congress President Girija Prasad Koirala has called for an end to politics based on ethnicity saying it would lead the nation towards disaster. Addressing a function in capital to mark the Memorial Day of the first elected Prime Minister B.P. Koirala on Tuesday, he said politics of regionalism and ethnicity would invite chaos and instability in the country. He warned such politics would split the nation. Claiming that he has not moved an inch back from his stance on nationality and national sovereignty as envisioned by B. P. Koirala, the NC president said philosophy propagated by B.P.
