Jan-10-10 Janamorcha's Valley banda: vehicles vandalised, over two dozen activists including CA member detained KATHMANDU, JAN 10 - Police on Sunday morning have detained more than two dozen Rastriya Janamorcha workers and supporters from different places while they were enforcing a general shutdown in the capital valley. The arrested include Janamorcha lawmaker Santa Bahadur Nepali and some central leaders. Janamorcha has called a day banda in the three districts of Kathmandu Valley today to protest the federalism. According to preliminary information, the banda-enforces have vandalised over 30 vehicles for defying the shutdown. Vehicles are not plying the major roads, and public transportation has been halted. Rastriya Janamorcha is the only party in the Constituent Assembly that says federal set up will but disintegrae the country and is vocally protesting the decision to announce the country federal.
