I have gotten couple of questions, and one of them is related to can one not qualify for the tuition credit if they did not get their 1098t. The answer is: As long as you paid for the college tuition and you qualify for the credit, you are entitled to the credit. You could always write a letter, include the supporting document (you are get it from your university's cash office)and attach it with the tax form. However, talk to an IRS agent and find out how they would want to approach this situation.
