une 4, 2025 – In response to the recent terrorist attack in Boulder, Colorado, U.S. immigration authorities have announced stricter measures to crack down on visa overstays and strengthen border security.

The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), in coordination with Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), revealed a multi-agency effort to enhance immigration record reviews and enforce existing visa laws more aggressively.

Key Actions Include:
🔹 Enhanced Screening – USCIS, CBP, and ICE will intensify scrutiny of immigration records to identify individuals who have overstayed their visas.

🔹 Targeted Enforcement – ICE will prioritize locating, investigating, and detaining suspected visa overstays through heightened enforcement operations.

🔹 Expedited Removals & Penalties – Authorities will fast-track deportations, impose legal consequences, and bar violators from future U.S. entry.

🔹 Stricter Visa Policies – USCIS will revise visitor visa and Visa Waiver Program rules to reduce overstay rates.
