I don't really buy into this stuff of INS raiding and, shop and resturant owners not wanting to hire international people. INS don't even have time to go after Mexiacans, why would they come after us. This same rumor has been repeating for years n years n years n years n years, u know what i am sayin. Just go to the same place u worked last year, get together, work hard and party hard guys.

If you read my post I have not talked about raiding or something like that. I am just saying that the employers are not hiring if you do not have work permit. If you do you are in good spot. This is a reliable info and am just trying to help some ppl save money. Thanks

I repeat....same rumor every year before summer again n again....i am not trying to harass by comments here. Trust me ...don't worry and have a blast this summer guys and gals. I have 5 years of experience and every year this same rumor appears right before summer. Peace

If businesses at OC and EP don't hire students, how are they going to sustain their summer businesses when thousands flock to these towns. None of these cities have large enough population to generate local work force. Who are they going to hire? Legal Mexicans, students with legal work permits? How many students have legal work permits?

Wow...intersting... Estes park has only about 100-150 shops.. and the smallaaa town has the polulation of about 5 K , mostly old people, few youngesters are pot heads and rather live in denver or boulder than up in the mountains.... few leftovers are busy piercing and tatooing and consider working 25 hours, a long hard hours, a week not a day dude... . It will be intersting to see wha ahpenes, really. I would like to see how they run ocean city or estes park with out Nepali students.. i'm curious... The business owners will hve to go on strike.... or they'll have to pay like 20 bucks an hour for something which they're paying 6 bucks to a student.... In reality, they can not do anything that can hurt the local business... you knowthe Nepali network, two people get trouble and the rest will flee like birds on the same tree.... I want to wait and see.. Funny thing is , they're doing this for Russian, lithuanians and other J1 holders..who come here for summer... Nepali students work aaaa off and pay that money back to school... and bring more money from home for studies and living expenses, speak better english, liked by employers, hard -honest workers, and dude it is illegal.. look what kind of justice is look like....

ppl Hamptons, capecod, even short period work in NYc are best options. you can make good money, party and screw INS mofos
