Hello,

A friend of mine's wife is in school on H4 visa and their 1-140 and 1-485 was recently denied, they have filed for an appeal with USCIS regarding the I-485 and I-140.

My question now is that would she be able to transfer to a F1, so that in case they lose status my friend can go on F2 to temporarily help their situation ?

Any help would be appreciated.
