Hello All,
My passport is expiring in April and I also need to renew my H1B. Can I apply for renewal with an expired passport? Is it even required?
Also if I apply for extension anytime before October 1st I should be good, correct? I'm trying to figure out if I will have enough time when I get my passport back from the fu$$s over at the Nepal embassy.

you can't renew your H1B without a valid passport. heck, you can't enter a bar without a valid id. you need to renew your passport asap. it won't take more than a month if you ask them to expedite it.
