Hi, I finished my school last year in may and started looking for job, i got my opt approved which started from (May 23 2106). i got the job and started working as orientation from may 15, 2016 which was for 12 hours. now, i have a pay check and i was questioned by USCIS for working before the OPT start date. USCIS questioned me sending me letter of intent to deny when i filed for H4. i filed in beginning of this year and took them like 9 months to send me this letter. Please suggest.

Looks like you are screwed a bit, better get hold of some good lawyer. But how the hell they knew about that work date...you might have worked on later part of same month. Did you sent pay stub or some thing
