On top of Bobby's woes, there is the whole conflict now with the bickering between the FIDE and that other parallel organization. I think the FIDE championships start soon, but FIDE was blasted by many for choosing Tripoli as their venue (oil money for a sagging organization?). How is V.Anand doing these days? I heard Peter Leko and Vladimir Kramnik were doing good, but I guess Kasparov is still tops?
